Please I’ve been looking all over the internet for anime Templates and I still haven’t found a single good one…PLZ help me find anime Templates or Templates that I can just replace the top pic with an anime picture

This article compiles the list of websites that provide Free Joomla templates. You would be able to find the template that you are looking for from one of these sites.

I have a website and recently installed Joomla!, but I cannot get it yet. I need a tutorial or a manual, specially about how to create templates for it.

Exactly what are you backing up and what are you using to do it?

With Joomexplorer yo can quickly zip up your site and save it locally. With FTP you can download it all directly.

Remember that the database needs backing up too using whatever backend database control panel utility (eg. phpMyAdmin) you have installed under your webspace backend (eg. cpanel, plesk).

In phpMyAdmin this is done using the Export tab. Select All in the Export selection window and click the ‘Save as file’ and ‘gzip’ boxes at the foot of the page.

This gzip can be then imported either to a new database on another remote server (web host) or localhost (your PC) in the same utility.

If you use the same setup (database name, admin name and password) and you can perform a complete restore with the gzipped database and the zipped website!

All the best,
Mike

PS .bak – this is a classic and widely used extension for backups but it dosen’t really matter so long as the imformation inside is the right type and can be extract once again :-)

what is JOOMLA ?
how it works ?
how can i download ?

Joomla is a php-based open source content management system that makes it easy to create powerful full-featured websites in a short amount of time. It separates more technical aspects of the website from the basic content creation making it easier for non-technical users to maintain and publish content.

It requires Apache Server, MySQL, and PHP and can be downloaded from http://www.joomla.org for free.

Many web hosts offer scripting programs like Fantastico to help make your Joomla installation on your web server easier. If you already have a web host, you might want to check to see if they have this easy install option available.

i want to see something already done with joomla to compare with

‘Colourful World’ free Joomla 1.5 template supports five colors: Pink, Green, Orange, Light Blue, Dark Blue. To download the template go to http://www.themza.com/joomla1.5/colourful-world-template.html If you wish to watch the HD version of this movie go to: http://www.themza.com/videos/joomla1.5/colourful-world-template-management-full-movie-tutorial.html

Here is what you can expect from the ‘Colourful World’ template:
I. Multi-Color Functionality. Choose from FIVE colours: Pink, Green, Orange, Light Blue & Dark Blue.
II. Advanced Module Support. The template supports all the modules typical of the new advanced Joomla templates series. There is a grey footer area divided to two pre-defined sections – USER 1 and USER 2 (Joomla script supported modules). You can use those sections to post Latest News, Archive, Polls, etc. With the previously released simple Joomla templates, you can do this only in the left column of the template. Another module worth mentioning is the template’s default TOP area, positioned at the top of the banner. It contains the default Newsflash1 module that can be replaced with custom module of your choice.
III. Brand New Module added. With the Colourful World free Joomla template you can now make use of another area added especially for this edition. The brand new Right Column within the template body will now allow you to more efficiently organize your website content.

I have got a web template but I want to customize it using joomla. Is it possible. Please let me know.

Joomla is a content management system, not a template editor.

It *uses* one or more templates in order to display content stored in a database to users, but it is not designed to customize them.

That being said, some Joomla templates can be "tweaked" via parameters that can be tuned from the Joomla administrative backend.

A template editing capability could also be added through Joomla extensions, but I’m not personally aware of any such extensions at this time.
