Search engines tend not to like URL's that have more than 3 question marks (?) in them and, unfortunately, many Joomla URL's do have more than 3. A good SEF extension can help both search engines and human visitors. One I use a lot is sh404SEF which rewrites the URL's so they are "human friendly". For example, instead of an URL containing loads of & ? etc, you could have an URL that displays as example.com/my-page You can get it here: http://extensions.siliana.com/en/sh404SEF-and-url-rewriting/sh404SEF-Joomla-SEF-URL-without-URL-rewriting-or-.htaccess.html This is a free extension. You have to go to google or wherever and register you site, so it will begin the crawl. If your site is configured properly (that option on).
