Download Joomla Templates

I have just started using joomla on my website www.cheapestpcrepair.com and i can not seem to grasp how the structure of it works, i guess i need to spend more time reading about it. i did just download some vidio tutorials about it, we’ll see. anyway – here is my question.

I am selling some things on eBay, I would like to use the eBay widget called eBay To Go (http://togo.ebay.com) on my home page under the navigation buttons.

so in a nutshel, i would like to make a box under the nav buttons on the left side of the page where i can enter html or banner info. when i am not displaying my own eBay sales i may even have banners for other sites or something there.

in the admin panel, how can i do this?

Is adding a DIV ELEMENT the only way to do this? isn’t there some way of doing it using the Joomla control panel?
I should point out that i am VERY NEW to joomla, I think I disabled something or other as well considering I have two "home page" bars on the main page and no banner advert area anymore. … : ( – lol

Your layout will need a div into which you’ll put a module.
